Since none of the TV channels seem to be doing this maybe we should do it in
here and unofficially award this prestigious prize - I am sure it would be picked up by the press and we could all have a bit of fun. For best I mean most coherent, least verbose etc. you know the things that you look for. I suppose it would really be BBC folks as there does not seem to be any competition. and i guess it would be those seen nationally. As news 24 blood more and more new faces it would be good to identify the top 3, to set standards so to say ![]() I will leave out radio and press as that would be too easy and the competition would not be eden, i mean even. my vote would be 1. Rob McElwee - by some margin 2. Philip Avery 3. Peter Gibbs brian aberfeldy currently -2.5 C at 1600 with snow lying above 1000 feet http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...enters/default ..stm |

Is there anyone out there who could organise? I would concur with your order of excellence. Jack |

And of course, not everyone in the country has satellite TV. My 84 year old mother in law for example doesn't - I am quite sure she would want to make an informed vote in this poll, but sadly would feel unable to do so being limited to a knowledge of terrestrial broadcasters only. The voting web-page must also have photographs of the presenters. Especially the female presenters ;-) -- Rayleigh, Essex (51:34N 0:36E 30m asl) Castle Point Astronomy Club http://www.cpac.org.uk |

How do you feel about top posting? Er.. there seem to be a few missing. Unless you are limiting it to national presenters. ISTM that the presenters on satellite TV (who I have never heard of) are given precedence over local presenters on terrestrial TV. Where are our local ITV ladies, Emma Jesson and Charlie Neil?
