Help with choosing an AWS
Hi All,
Looking to purcahse a wireless AWS to supplement my manual observations. Seems the choice is between a Davis Vantage Pro and the Oregon Scientific kit. Davis is more expensive than the Oregon kit. I know this has been discussed here before, but any thoughts? "MDJ" wrote in message s.com... Definitely DON'T go for the Oregon Scientific. Have a search on the net and you will see loads of reports of poor readings and unreliable remote sensors. Also, be wary about going for a wireless system. They only send data once every second and can miss out on reading gusting winds accurately. You can get the Davis cheaper than you think.
