Default [WR] Snow, Wanlockhead

Started snowing heavily at 2315 last night, woke this morning to 4cm
cover. The village looks splendid! I'd take a photo but it's a bit
gloomy with some low cloud, so I suspect the picture wouldn't come out
very well.

Temperature steady at 0.5C.

Hi Steve

My folks in Stirling had heavy overnight snow that is there this morning
about an inch or so - meanwhile it never made Aberfeldy. The flipping radar
shos it move up the country then pivot right and East.

I feel cheated. The snow here is still above 800 feet. Stirling gets less
snow than just about anywhere..

its snow fair

An accumulation of 2cm here by this morning. Unexpected bonus - really
didn't think we'd get a cover at little over 350ft asl.
Thawing quickly already. Some impressive fog banks coming and going this
morning.
Alex.

Aw, shame. Maybe you'll get some later in the week?

Stunning picture indeed Steve. Just a patchy cover remaining here now.
The blue sky of this morning is being replaced by wintry clouds here, I'd
say a good chance you'll get more snow before the day is out. More likely
sleet here in Wishaw/Motherwell.
I saw the Lomond and Campsie hills from Paisley this morning, both ranges
looking stunning - quite similar to that picture indeed.
There was a little bit of snow lying in higher parts of Paisley this morning
too, but down in Paisley town centre nothing but treacherous ice.

Alex.

I can't see out of my window - there's a big tree in the way
