Very heavy snowfalls in central Greece
Good morning all.
Very heavy snowfall indeed throughout Athens right now. Numerous problems already around the capital, as temperatures have dropped considerably (-3.3C here in the southeast, down to -7C in the northernmost suburbs) and the roads have been white for some hours already. Accumulations around the city between 10 cm and 70 cm. I took my chances and drove downtown, I will send you some pictures from the centre of Athens later on.
