I wish that whoever is running the BBC these days would do something
about the outside broadcasts that are given in the name of weather-forecasts in the morning programme on BBC 1. In an exchange between the div on duty this morning and the two in the studio, the one whose job it is to know things about the weather said: "It's stinging. It's not funny."
