Default Where is S.E snow coming from?

There are UKMO severe weather warnings and a BBC forecast saying there is a
risk of snow tonight in the SE. At the moment I can't see anything on the
radar other than the bright echoes around N.Norfolk which have always
petered out so far this week as they've moved south. The all week promised NE
wind still doesn't seem to have materialised. Is there someting developing
to the East which can't be seen on the radar?
We seem to have had the ingredients this week but no snow here, unlike last
year when we had two falls over 10cm which were unforecast. Just goes to
show that snow is still the event that confounds the models and the
forecasters most!

Dave. S.Esssex 1.2C rising, barometer 1011 rising rapidly, NW as all week.

Yup know what you mean.
Had a bit of snow this arvo and thats it. Can't see anything on the radar
that could possibly bring this 5-10cm of snow the MetO seem so sure about.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Running AVBrief animations - the precipitation bands are now definately
moving S-West - so the East has a good chance IMO.
