Bleak Day
 

Is it just me that thinks it's looking particularly bleak out there? Just
7.8C, an increasingly overcast sky and a stiff westerly breeze is making
for more of an early March day, rather than April.

I notice from the charts that there's 528 thickness air lurking around for
much of this week and parts of Europe look pretty unsettled too. It seems
that the weather just *knows* when Bank Holidays are approaching - or
maybe I'm just having a particularly gloomy day?

Know what you mean Tom, but it has hit 10.6C by midday - doesn't feel it
though in the gusty wind.

It's been snowing here most of the morning, on and off. Temp now 4.8C,
but it falls to around 1C during the snow showers.
