April circulation indices for the British Isles

Anyone interested in the westerliness, southerliness, and
anticyclonic indices I wrote about in earlier months can see
all the April stuff in graphical form at:

http://www.climate-uk.com/indices04.htm

The very cyclonic nature of April (and therefore its wettness)
in the last 20 years stands out ... but I was surprised to see
that it is not unprecedented.

Just to say many thanks for that Philip. As a comparative layman I found
it hugely helpful as a resource for better understanding shifts in
weather patterns. Any chance of doing other, say, Winter months in the
same way. It is so accessible.

Cheers,

I'll add them month by month ... it'll give you something to look
forward to :-) There'll be other stuff appearing there too from
time to time, but it'll be a slow process as I've got big
commitments
for the remainder of this year.

What can I say?!! Many thanks Philip - did you ever foresee the
usefulness of this group when you kicked it all off I wonder?

Cheers,
