Persisting southerlies have been causing Foehn effects in northern Crete.
Late last night, Irakleio, Crete, was reporting +24C and a dew point of only
ms 16C (RH 5.9%):

.... and interesting to see the abrupt change in the course of Monday morning
as the wind backed to NE/ENE.
