The rush hour snow forecast for the S.E is not looking too promising.
The showers on the radar appear to be decreasing. The dutch radar
shows a similar story. Am I missing something?

I wonder if it might be a radar range issue? Is there coverage from the UK
(and indeed Dutch) radars out into the North Sea? Martin? Jon? Will?!

Haven't had a chance to look at the infra-red imagery to see if there are
still showers about...

A very brief sleet/wet snow shower here at lancing west of Brighton lasted
about 10 minutes now all clear and nothing settled.
Certainly seems to be dying as its moving away south west.

More showers magically "appearing" over the Channel around 1700 that
suggests it might be a radar issue - if the tops are shallow the radar
might be seeing through the more distant showers, but I'll leave it to the
experts to confirm!
