Forecaster could do with just a thank you.

Normally I would not be so forward about this but this has happened on
several occasions over the past year in uk.sci weather often with an
introduction of "I have been lurking for sometime on this group----". For
instance there was a lady from Arundel, in Sussex who was planning an
event
for her area and wanted information. Again you may remember the post but
no
reply from her even though the forecast turned out very much as predicted
and it cost her not a cent.

The public and the media are quick to throw stones but often slow to
shower
praise and appreciation.

Great point Ian. One wonders what happened to the concept of manners. If I
ask for help on anything I am only too grateful for any help that I receive.
It disappoints me that far too many people these days are only too happy to
take and give no thanks at all. I must say thank goodness there are some
that do appreciate things, but sadly these days there are not enough of
them.
