I can confirm that a thunderstorm has passed within 1km (3 seconds
between flash/bang) of Canterbury. Plenty of rain and a rather soggy
queue waiting for taxis! Taxi driver doing a roaring trade!

Something huge and ominous just swallowed up the moon... very dramatic!
Flashes in the cloudt to the NW. Wind picking up, cool and gusty.

Looking forward to a storm here in peterborough, what do you eductated
folk think my chances are, I've seen meto's ww also appears on
metcheck but it seems very open ended, ie. lets cover as many regions
and counties as we can think of.
