Default High CAPE

Being pretty ignorant and new to all this, does a high CAPE on
theWetterzentrale site definitely point towards severe thunderstorms
or does it have to be combined with other factors.

What are the opinions for storms in France in the coming week?

I'd be very interested to know where else to look and what else to
consider.
