Hot weather and possible cool stuff

So, this week is going to be very hot, and very unbearable. I think
that's the general opinion. So, having said that, let's talk about the
important stuff. Like how long before we get a really nice
thunderstorm? I see the Beeb 5 day is, or was the last time I looked,
predicting that sort of weather for Malvern at some point in the week.

Oh, and did anyone see the tornado programme on C5? It was interesting
seeing footage of some really old tornados shot in black and white. I
haven't seen a lot of that footage. For some reason the graininess of
the film makes them all the more foreboding. One thing I've wanted to
know for a while is if Fujita is still alive? Nobody seems to talk
about him in the past tense, yet I've never seen any interviews with him
anywhere.

Ted Fujita died a few years back. He's probably punching the core
somewhere...

The thing about these programmes is that it makes folk think you only get
tornadoes in Oklahoma in the USA.. I watched the first 10 minutes or so then
turned off. This is a fallacy that Fujita himself knew.

The soaring temperatures are also making the CAPEs and LI's soar.. should be
an interesting couple of weeks.
