Don't worry. This is not another scare story. The current pictures at
http://www.arctic.noaa.gov/gallery_np.html show lots of water but it's the usual mel****er puddles on the surface of the ice. These occur every year and are the result of the surface snow melting. -- Graham Davis Bracknell |
