How 'far south' is the current jetstream
I've seen quite a few mentions that the current 'more southerly'
Atlantic jetstream is causing the so-so July we seem to be having. Could anyone put a figure on exactly how much further south the jetstream is than normal. With this is mind - is there anyone (Philip Eden!!!) who knows what the summer has been like so far in the Charente region of France. Cheers, Scott |

Up to the end of June you'll find all the data you need at www.weather-uk.com/page4 Having just got back I can tell you exactly what this month has been like so far: cool and unsettled just like here. Several days with a max of just 18 or 19, one night as low as 4, and I put the central heating on on three days. I believe, though, that it changed back to normal the moment I left. Philip Eden |
