Well 21.51 and the skies are clear here in SE London .
UKMO have severe weather warnings for the Central Southern England: Heavy Rain at 20:00 yet their tedious map on shows showers and clear skys for that same area. Looking at the rainfull animation it clearly shows that at 20:00 therain was nowhere near central southern England. Is there another England? I get the feeling looking at that rainfall animation, that all the rain will fizzle out before it reaches London. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Up here at 55N at 2100z the front seems to have spluttered to a stop halfway
across the Pennines. So much for extratropical cyclone "Alex". No lightning being detected in this area but SW Scotland seems to be getting plastered according to the topkarten sferics site. Bracknell is showing the low almost QS at 091200z with the fronts just about clearing the NE of England. At T+36 showing a wave which will presumably traverse up the front. Don't hold your breath. The murk has moved in from the North Sea too.. killing all chance of convection I suspect. Typical. Must forget to put film in the video camera and ensure batteries aren't charged in the digicam next time. Everybody... suck hard! ): Les -- Les Crossan, Wallsend, Tyne & Wear 55N 01-30W, Home of the Wallsend Stormcam - http://www.uksevereweather.org.uk "lawrence jenkins" wrote in message ...
