Default Much more changeable than expected

Long term forecasts suggested a long anticyclonic period from about
now but the weather even down here in the far south can only be
described as changeable - seems they overestimated pressure for the
whole of this week by about 10mb. Ironically the "big" low at the
beginning of last week provided better conditions - the 13th and 14th
were mostly sunny barring the odd short lived downpour.

But this supposedly "anticyclonic" spell, interrupted only by "weak"
fronts..

Friday 17th: drizzle or moderate rain practically all day
Saturday 18th: rained significantly for two hours early afternoon
Sunday 19th: occasional sun but with frequent dark, heavy cloud (if
dry)
Monday 20th: mostly dry but dull, noticeable rain in afternoon

Yes, exactly right. I'm now hoping, with the barometer rising again that
they have underestimated it by 10mb. For some reason it never seems to work
that way round!
