Two or three heavy showers today in Deal which didn't settle and above Dover
on the hills there is a consistent shallow covering of snow, with everythng
white.

How come it is bypassing us here in Broadstairs? It is 2.7 degC here with
an easterly wind around 13mph (10 min ave) and a wind chill of -2. We have
had several sleet showers this afternoon but no real snow.

Dunno but since I posted that post, we've not had any more snow - what
we have is slowly melting (it's about 1C out) - even though the radar
shows piles of showers north, south, east and west of us.
