Thank you, Rob. Isn't it nice to see that there ARE actually real humans at
BT, as opposed to the usual automated reply. -- Bernard Burton Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. Satellite images at: www.btinternet.com/~wokingham.weather/wwp.html "Rob Overfield" wrote in message ... After having a word with the nice people at BT Internet as regards the flood on Monday, I got this response today: ------------------- Thank you for taking the time to contact the BT Customer Security Team about your concerns with newsgroup postings originating on our network. At BT we are consistently looking at ways to improve the service we offer our customers. As part of this we have put together an online questionnaire about the your experience of dealing with the BT Customer Security Team which we would like to complete. The questionnaire can be found at the following URL: http://home.btconnect.com/btquestionnaire and will only take a few minutes of your time. Your feedback will help us improve the service we offer you. I have carried out an investigation into the posting you brought to my attention and have taken action against our user to stop this happening again. I?m sorry to say, though, that I won?t be able to give you any more information about the user in question. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused and do not hesitate to contact us with any further enquiries or comments. Thank you again. Well an automatic reply is the first step. Cos that came within a few
minutes but to actually get something back after what looks like an investigation, well it restore a little of the reputation at BT Internet with me. Rob Bernard Burton wrote: Thank you, Rob. Rob My opinion of BT is quite low after they sent me a virus in 2001. I informed them of it and got no reply. Jon. |
