BRACKNELL (TF) 24/0715Z PPN falling here for past couple of hours; mainly -RASN (as now), but short period of light snow (-SN) has provided very fragmentary cover roofs, cars, some grassed areas etc., but all paved/tarmac/concrete clear & damp (i.e. non-icy). OAT currently +0.5degC. No impact on travel. 24/0800Z Little changed from previous. Continuous light sleet past hour making little impact on surface. Hard/paved surfaces damp, locally wet ... grass surfaces have a little snow: overall though, nothing remarkable. OAT +0.7degC, grass min. thermo reading +0.4degC. 0900 NNW F3 15km -RASN 2/ST 7/ST 8/SC T011D002 RMK: Only very temporary effect on ground state from brief snow phase: in fact, much of early patchy snow has melted as the temperature rises. [ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z): screen min: 00.6 grass min: 00.2 precipitation: 0.4 other data: All hard/paved surfaces either damp or wet, not icy.
