Just returned from Helensburgh where 7/8 cloud cover. The remaining
eighth was to the NW, i.e. here, where a series of Ac Lent were
visible lining up from east to west. Presumably, the high ground to
our east had created waves leading to this development. The web cam
sequence shows the development quite well.

Jack?

Light covering of snow lying down to c.500 metres.

At 10:30 :-

6/8 Sc/Ac

Temperature 4.2°C, rising from a low of 1.7°C at 07:45.

Dew point 0.5°C

Wind 2 mph, gusting to 6 mph, N. Max gust 17 mph, NE, at 00:45.

Barometer 1027.4 mb steady.

Precipitation since midnight 0.0 mm.

Web cam on line.
