![]() ================================================== ================== This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author. Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== Just looking ahead a bit and quite honestly I cannot see much chance of substantial rainfall this Spring. The pattern is still essentially blocked with high pressure predicted to remain close to UK for next couple of weeks (after a brief spell of rain/sleet/snow early this week) and at this time of year zonal flows are not exactly normal anyway. I fear that parts of England, particularly the SE, are going to have serious problems with water this year. Blazing sun and 0.5 deg C on the Dartmoor tundra at 0900 26/2/05 :-) Will. -- " Visit Haytor meteorological office at http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Hayt...met_office.htm " ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A COL BH site in East Dartmoor at Haytor, Devon 310m asl (1017 feet). mailto: www: http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk DISCLAIMER - All views and opinions expressed by myself are personal and do not necessarily represent those of my employer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Morning Will, http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/seasonal/index.html is also indicating below average rainfall is more likely. http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk...sion=1&lang=_e May also be of interest.
