Blizzard conditions and visibility down to a few hundred yards. Snowing most
of the morning so far. No doubt a few more inches will be added on the Downs
to the foot already lying. Then heavy snow forecast for tomorrow's rush
hour, more on Sat and Sun...sorry this is just getting boring now!

Still no sign of the showers dieing out - they are still piling in off
the sea. Last shower lasted 30 minutes, caused the temperature to drop
to 0.2°C at 1345Z. Left a fresh deposit of 2cm of snow including 1cm on
many vertical surfaces (fences, walls, etc.). Visibility was reduced to
abou 20-30m at one point. Wind is now whipping it up. Although the snow
has been melting between showers, we still have the same amount (if not
more) than we had at 0900Z with about 6cm on grass.
