What's the point of the animation? It's just the three images on that
webpage in sequence!

I'm not so sure... aren't we expecting a sharp frost tonight in the SE
which would allow any snow on the leading edge of the front to settle:

http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/tmin_frame.htm

(if you believe GFS)

Also, the 1000-500hPa thickness lines may be misleading in this
situation as the warm air aloft increases the mean temperature of the
layer which is unrepresentative of the cold air near the surface... so
you could get snow with higher thickness values than in other situations.

Warm front, and thickness doesn't look very impressive right now

I'd go for a spell of freezing rain.

Milder air aloft, still very cold at the surface

Clashing with the morning rush-hour, it could be very nasty in the
south-east at first tomorrow morning
