As I understand it, on Fri, 04 Mar 2005 16:10:30 +0000, Mark reported
this: "Geoff F." wrote in message ... Doesn't seem to anyone posting from the North-West of England. I'm about 12 miles from Blackburn, & it's been a bright sunny day, about 46F (at a guess) with a cool northerly breeze. I was most surprised to see the pictures of snow in the SE, on BBC News. Hi Geoff, I'm a regular lurker from your area. About 12 miles from Blackburn too. Brierfield to be exact. Where exactly are you? Mark Accrington. :-) |

Mark I'm a bit further north in that bit of Lancashire which is now in Cumbria, but our weather is just like yours, very pleasant, no thought of snow, now it has clouded over and we aren't getting the sun it is starting to feel cold. We get impressive views across to the Pennines and up to the lakes where the tops do have enough snow cover to look beautiful Jim Webster |
