Snow has ceased here just this minute - just light sleet now. Another
4cm have fallen here this morning, making a total of around 8cm now
(possibly a bit more). That takes the total accumulation over the past
two weeks to somewhere around 35-40cm; 8 days out of 10 of snow lying
at 9am and 11 days out of 12 of snow falling.

...and currently 15-16cm of snow lying at the University of Kent campus
(2km NW and 60m higher elevation than here):

Snow has now started again - currently moderate snow.

After last night's low of -6.7C, temperatures have only just this minute
risen above freezing here, currently at 0.1C.

There's a light SW'ly and the past two hours have seen snow, heavy at times,
leave another inch to inch and a half on top of the already lying snow -
total depth five to five and a half inches.

I went out with my camera earlier:

Looking southwards across some fields.

View to the north along a local road.

The B2231 eastbound, heading into Leysdown.

(WR refers to Leysdown, north Kent, 10m ASL)

Good pictures Darren - and amazing the difference a few miles makes in
terms of snow falling. Kent really is blessed once the temperature is
low enough. Think I may move there...
