Clearing up now - but the clouds are pretty heavy still. Roads look a
mixture of slush, snow, and water; not conducive to TT'ing I wouldn't
have thought!

Oops - scratch that, snowing hard again now!

Looks to be about 6cm on the grass.

Sensibly, the organiser of the event has postponed it.

Cheers.

Yes Chris, it was snowing hard!

My Mother in law rang us early on Saturday to tell us there was a few
inches of snow in Norfolk and she would understand if we decided not to
come over for Mothers Day but I told her we would risk it as it wasn't
too bad here.
We left Weston Coyney (North Midlands) at around 09.30 and it was
snowing lightly, we drove through Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire with
bright sunshine and not a snowflake in sight, finally ran into some rain
and sleet just past Grantham. Once we had past Kings Lynn it was snowing
hard and there was still quite a covering when we arrived in Sporle
(close to Swaffham) at about 13.15.
There was more sleet and snow showers as we drove into Swaffham in the
afternoon.
Sunday was mostly dry but mostly cloudy with a few snow grains as we
drove to the George and Dragon pub at Newton by Castle Acre for a lovely
Sunday roast.

Great weekend
