[Thinks: at last, a use for the Postcode Database...]

I suspect your answer is 'Mossside', although according to the
postcode db it has a space in it.

If spaces /are/ allowed, you can also have:
Asthall Leigh
Bell Lake
Blymhill Lawn
Holywell Lake
Mynydd Du (the spillchucker wants to change it to 'Mended VDU'!)
Three Elms
Yew Tree Estate
(and my favourite)
Nempnett Thrubwell

The only apostrophied one I could find was Buss's Green.

I can confirm it is Moss Side, living a mere two miles from the lovely
place.

And I do know the answer! (It happened to come up in a crossword
many moons ago)

I've seen Invernessshire spelt both with and without a hypen ...
and as we were talking about Scottish counties ...

Hi,

I have indeed, the Asda superstore in Hulme is right next door and the bus
route goes through there. Luckily, I own a suit of armour so it's donned
most of the time when shopping, it's easy at this time of year being panto
season ;-)

When I was a lad I used to go on the 53 bus through Moss Side from Longsight to
visit the Theatre of Dreams. That was during the race riots and running street
battles !

All a very very long time ago now.

Felly sgrifennodd Neil Sunderland :
Mynydd Du (the spillchucker wants to change it to 'Mended VDU'!)

It can't count anyway, as "dd" is one letter in Welsh (coming after "d"
in the alphabet). If you do count that then I claim
Llanfairpwllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch as valid also, and that
has four consecutive "l"s (actually, two "ll"s). Now I wonder what your
spillchucker would make of that!
