There's a bit too much low cloud here for the wave pattern to be
identified 'from the bottom up'. The wavelength is noticeably shorter in
the south of the country, particularly SW Ireland, than further north.
Presumably this is due to differences in the vertical temperature
profile.

I'm struck by how much the upstream cloud features resemble the cloud
bands on Jupiter.
