Curious. Mine are in
/home/mikec/.mozilla/default/8bi2uk0j.slt/bookmarks.html

Probably because FF took over the existing Mozilla installation.

More to the point -- are you trying to confuse the Billyware users?
Don't they have enough problems already?

I only ask because after a crash I seemed to lose them all and could
only import the old IE ones.

Thanks

Hello.

I use Web Links Organiser, Ithink you can still get it at

http://www.rwsoft.co.uk/weblinks/weblinks.zip

You can then keep all your bookmarks in one place when using more that
one browser, also keep a separate back up.

Thanks for all your replies, but I still can't find it, I don't seem
to have 'Application Data folder after my user name in Documents and
Settings. I also did a search for a folder with that name and drew a
blank.

Keith (Southend)

Best way to find it is to use Windows search and look for bookmarks.html
which will return a few ! Just select the largest/most recently
accessed.

As was said before, you can go to the Bookmarks menu then Manage then
File from that window and Export to My Documents as a backup... Then all
you have to do is to use the same procedure to get to Import and it's
all restored...

The other thing to do is to do is back up your profile - see
http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile on how to do this...

Thanks Nick and everybody else for that. I did locate the original
bookmarks so all is not lost, however, because any new bookmark I had
placed in the 'imported' IE Favourites things become a little muddled.
It's probably about time I sorted out the millions of bookmarks I have
:-)
ps: I've just bookmarked that link as well g
