... Some sad news - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/4345903.stm Joe Hi, Joe, Sad news indeed. Scarborough's North Bay and Marine Drive are very dangerous places when a high sea is running, in spite of recent improvements to the sea defences. I was brought up in the town - the power of the sea is awesome at times. -- Ken Cook, Copley (5miles north of Barnard Castle), County Durham. 830ft http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/copley (MO climat. site updated before 10Z and 19Z daily) kencookATcopleydurham.freeserve.co.uk (All times GMT) |
