Total rainfall this month up to 22:30 this evening is 55.8mm which negates my comment yesterday(?) about this month being remarkably dry so far. Me and my big mouth... LOL Those 'dry' days were deceptive We had snow and we had rain Its just that inbetween we had sun -- its alright -- we have forgotten what it was Its not surprising our whole judgement gets thrown out with the bath water after more than 2 hours of blue sky - it had been a VERY long time since seeing that much :~) Shame it could not just shift a fraction up the scale instead of all the way to warm wet westerlies or whereevr It would have been really nice to have drained the ground a touch. Its quite astonishing JUST how flooded everywhere is after a 24 hours of steady drizzle. Quite worrying really the grass stopped in the cold but now its going to flood again.
