First +20C of spring
 

Good afternoon everyone.

As one may see, the Mediterranean is under strong anticyclonic influence
which has led temperatures to rise considerably, especially over continental
areas (the isles have started reporting lower temperature maxima than
continental sites do). My first temperature over +20C today here, in SE
Athens: +20.6C at 1310 EET with not a single sign of cloud in the sky. It is
on days like this that I wonder why I like snow and cold...

It's not often the case that Holland beats Athens in higher temperatures,
but obviously yesterday was such a day. Max 21.7 C !!
Yes, Yannis, glorious days; these spring days..... absolutely no longing for
snowy cold weather:).
