One of the disadvantages of the proximity of the East Coast I guess.
We certainly haven't had the sun of the past few days that many seem to be
enjoying.
The dense fog of earlier has lifted, but still very misty and with a light
breeze and temp of 7.2c it's decidedly chilly.

It's not just the East coast either. Still cloudy here, despite for a
couple of hours looking as if it might break up. Current temp
is 11.7C. Yesterday the cloud had pretty much gone by 9.30.

Hi Col,

Getting better here on the coast at Thornton-Cleveleys, N of Blackpool. Also
the Manchester webcams show the Sc layer thinning and breaking.

Hi Col,

Still cloudy here at Chester but it is trying to brighten. The sunny weather is tantalisingly close with the A55 webcams showing
sunny skies about 6 miles down the road.
