Duststorm to snowstorm
Driving back on the outskirts of Market Weighton this afternoon I ran into
dust blowing off the fields and within the space of a mile, a snow and hailstorm blowing off the Wolds. Strange day! We had snow around 0500 here, settling very temporarily. Heavy hail and snow showers here late afternoon, with a very slight dusting. Another shower at present. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |
