Doesn't look as if we got much more from midnight on. So a couple of cm lying, There was about the same on the ground here when we left at 0445z, and it was still snowing. No idea how much fell after that (but it looks like not a lot), as we've been up to Sutherland today and just got back - there are still patches of snow here and there. Looking at my webcam pictures from today, it looks like most of the snow here had gone by about 1000z. We finally saw the sun today on the way back at about 1600z, a few miles south of Inverness. The snow-covered Cairngorms looked wonderful in the sun! -- Steve Loft, Wanlockhead, Dumfriesshire. 1417ft ASL Weather and webcam: http://www.wanlockhead.org.uk/ Free weather softwa http://cumulus.nybbles.co.uk/ Hand-crafted greetings cards: http://www.fairhand.co.uk/ |
