I'm not going to post a URL.
Just look for yourself. There is slowly an agreement between successive runs. No longer are we seeing dramatic change from one run and the next. The only thing changing is exactly the direction and strength of the wind. There is agreement that it will be roughly NW to N. Low centred over Scandinavia. Brendan :-) |

i just checked out the roadcams for Finland, Lapland
it's between 5 - 6am over there at the time of writing. Some locations above freezing, wet roads, and some just managing to stay below. not good for Mr Christmas at all should be turning colder there by the weekend though |

Low centred over Scandinavia. It's looking promising for my Christmas forecast issued on Dec 5th: 'Christmas day will be windy under a generally NW flow. There will be frequent heavy and squally showers in Western Scotland and Northern Ireland but fewer further south and east. The far south east may get away with a dry day with a good deal of sunshine. Any chance of snow will be restricted to the mountains of Western Scotland although it cannot be ruled out at lower levels later in the far north.' -- "So next Wednesday could be a Snow day for 90% of us" referring to a metcheckdata website -- I say: rubbish !! They are also making much of the northerly in November How strange, does everyone move North of Derby when they favour cold weather? What did the south get from the northerly in Nov? I counted one night of frost here in the south-west |

With the Atlantic high still dominant, that would seem to me to be an excellent forecast that far ahead. Cheers Paul -- 'Wisest are they that know they do not know.' Socrates. Paul Bartlett FRMetS |
