as ever, and the total since 0900Z is a miserly 0.9mm.
My total for the month so far stands at 15mm, which is less than
Norman recorded this morning.

Ewell, Epsom 55m.

... here in Bracknell, the 4.0mm this morning (09-11Z), then another
4.1mm early this afternoon has brought our monthly total up to 18.9mm,
or a third of the eLTA for this area.

I'm up to around 42mm now, though on only 4 days has more than 1mm
fallen.

I get the impression that showers often tend to run up the Bristol
Channel and dump considerable quantities- are there stats to confirm
or otherwise?
