Default Very slightly (OT) Current temperatures elsewhere in the world?

Hi,

I know it's probably a question for the faq again but can anybody point me
to current real-time temperatures available online, elsewhere in the world?
My current interest is in the soaring temperatures in the USA, particularly
Texas but would like to check the progress of our nearby continental
neighbours. I'm looking at http://www.weather.com/newscenter/ at the moment
but that's not much use really. Weather Underground is the only other one I
can think of/

Any advice, please!

Tony

.... for Europe only, you could try

http://www.meteo.uni-koeln.de/meteo.php?show=En_We_Wk

and for tabulated daily (worldwide) data then try

http://www.southendweather.net/

.... others will add to these.

Martin.

Hi Martin,

Thanks, but with my extremely limited knowledge of synoptics etc. I wonder
if there are any other tabulated updates out there with just the basics i.e.
'things I can understand?'

I'm going to try Weather Underground again to see how that fares?

Thanks again.

Tony
