My current interest is in the soaring temperatures in the USA, particularly Texas but would like to check the progress of our nearby continental neighbours. I'm looking at http://www.weather.com/newscenter/ at the moment but that's not much use really. Weather Underground is the only other one I can think of/ http://www.meto.gov.uk/index.html Scroll down to the World Weather section, and select the region you want from the drop-down list against Latest Weather. -- John Hall "Acting is merely the art of keeping a large group of people from coughing." Thanks John and all.
That MO link was particularly useful (Well done Met Office) we should have a Met Office TV channel just like the old weather Channel, well that's another topic completely!!! Anyway John, when I got to the NOAA (I suppose big thanks go to the yanks) pages through the corporate links section, there are hourly updates on the observations section, see below for current example. Very interesting. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/psr/redirect.php?wfo=psr Many Thanks everyone. Tony "John Hall" wrote in message ... Try http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/psr/weather/...hp?wfo=psr#obs and maybe leave off '?wfo+psr#obs' Anyhow, select Current Weather conditions eg: Central USA and Forth Worth is up to 30c at 10am so might quite not make the 100c today but elsewhere in the USA, they will. If the above doesn't work then I don't know? Cheers again. Tony |
