Another massive TS is coming straight for me. There is evidence of
rotation in the rfb in one of the cells... Thunder almost continous,
lightning must be IC as it's not visible.

It's great isn't it Les

I'm sitting in my shed in Shiremoor with thunder all around me. We've had
torrential rain and hail here.

The kids have loved it because as its so warm they have been happy to play
in the rain.

Just as I am writing this there have been three very bright CC flashes
overhead. I'm hoping that they go CG because there is a pylon just over the
road from my house and they tend to strike it on days like this -
spectacular.

Cheers

My definition of "great weather" Paul although them at Whitley Bay today
probably won't agree (:

IMO they were single cells, some with rotation, verging on 'severe pulse'.

Looks like Estofex were right to upgrade to slight risk. Seems to have
settled down a bit now. Photographs to follow later.

Just had a call from my mum in Blyth (7 miles away) and they have not had
one drop of rain there and only a few rumbles.
