Question regarding Boltek Stormtracker locations

Hi - someone posted this link:

http://www.isleofwightweather.co.uk/live_storm_data.htm

which links to live data from an Isle-Of-White based lightning
detector. And jolly good it is too.

What I was wondering is: is there a directory of similar units in
different locations?

I'd like one a little closer to my location (Stafford).

Out of interest, how does the accuracy drop off over range?

Thanks.

Thanks for that. Out of interest, is there a zoomed option?

I love the Bramshall tornado stuff you have there. Very impressive.

Burton-on-Tent

http://www.ukstorms.com/

Click on "Station Weather Data", "Boltek Storm Tracker - Lightning Data"

Out of interest, how does the accuracy drop off over range?

Quite considerably, I would think, as range would appear to be estimated
according to received energy, which falls off according to the inverse square
law.

Thanks.

Again, thanks.

I can see me starting to go down the 'hmmm, how much to get one of these?'
route..!

No, its a screen grab. I used to use the Nexstorm software, great internet
interface but not as good for analysis of the data so I moved to Lightning
2000. Great for me... not so good for visitors to the site.

Bramshall was a good one, I was less than 2 min away from it.... when it
happened. Gutted!
