I know that is only one day, but I am reminded of August 1968, when the wet spell in the south east was such a contrast to the drought up here, with high pressure in roughly that position. -- Mike 55.13°N 6.69°W Coleraine posted to uk.sci.weather 21/07/2005 11:42:43 UTC |

Rain on Tuesday wouldn't be a problem, as the scheduled last day is Monday. At the moment, it looks as though it could finish on Saturday, though. -- John Hall "Distrust any enterprise that requires new clothes." Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862) |

Here's an upbeat option - rain by Saturday afternoon (to coincide with a BBQ I've planned) and thereafter until Monday, culminating in a draw ![]() -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |
