It's been 19 nights here, now - though a few have gone close. Haven't
had any really hot nights either, fortunately - nothing above 15C. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham |

14th of June with 6.5C.
Most nights have been around the 14-16C mark but I don't know whether that's unusual for here, i.e., on the warm side, but it would be for Worcester ________________ Nick G Exe Valley, Devon 50 m amsl "Paul Hyett" wrote in message news ![]() It's been 19 nights here, now - though a few have gone close. Two days - it fell to 9.9C here in the early hours of Thursday, much to my amazement. Normally we don't get into single figures until late August or early September! Also XCWeather at 16:20 showed the dewpoint at 13 degrees for Penzance Heliport. The last sub 10 degrees I've recorded in August was 21/08/2000. If we get a decent warm spell next week, hopefully the sea will return to the 19 degrees it achieved mid-July. Graham |

Sub 10 degrees is very rare here in July/August/early Sept. The sea is simply too warm to allow it unless it's completely calm. At the moment, anything less than 12C seems rare with a typical night minimum temperature around 15C. I went swimming in the sea today in south Devon, and it felt warm. Far too warm for a wetsuit. _______________ Nick G Exe Valley, Devon 50 m amsl "Graham Easterling" wrote in message ...
