Just when you thought it was all over..
TAFs, the Airmet mentions: RISK OF RA TURNING TO SLEET/SN FOR A TIME OVER HIGHER GROUND OF SE ENGLAND. Mild temps today, about 7deg in comrie. Out and about, Glen Coe rain, lots of it and 9 deg. Most of the snow from the last few days has been washed away in the west. Similar story for Fort William with mild temps and rain, windy. The gondola at annoch mor closed for the day due high winds. BBC at 1630 z promises snow overnight and into the morning. I just knew that if I waxed my skis and fixed the roof bars to the car this would happen. ---- John D www.celticgods.co.uk/snow |
