Uploading to Weather Underground with Davis software?

I'm uploading from a Vantage Pro using WeatherLink 5.5.1 (plus
WeatherLinkModule).

Everything works fine except precipitation. Neither the totals nor
the individual data even remotely agree with the station rainfall
records (which are correct as downloaded from my data logger).

Looking at a few stations on the site I'm yet to see another using the
Davis software. Is the software likely to be the problem (or possibly
the way the site processes it)?

I'm using a 30 minute archive interval if that's relevant.
