Default Question about Tampa, FL

My wife and I are planning on relocating to the Tampa area sometime next
year. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any websites where I can research
about how many hurricanes have occurred in that area over the past years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The gentleman above provided you with a sound link but it would seem rather
unlikely for Tampa to take a direct hit because of it's location; although
I'm sure it has and of course, there are always hurricanes that cross
Florida from the east, like Katrina (although I don't recall if Tampa got
much of anything from Katrina.)

Here is a good site: http://www.ihrc.fiu.edu/about_us/about_hurricanes.htm
Just remember, think of hurricanes like you would the stock market. Past
performance is not indicative of future results.
Good luck.
