It is beautiful, especially when the snow outlines each branch on the

Got 4" in Acton MA.

Last year, even though it was snowy, we seemed to get less than neighboring
towns. Looking at a lot of radar during last year's storms, many times we
seemed to be in a dry slot. Not this time, apparently. I wonder if that
means anything.

I liked yesterday's powdering a lot more than this morning's slop. It was
pretty without being annoying.

Another of what kind of winter, or do I dare ask---not another of the "well
to our south" patterns again, I hope. Although even with that pattern, these
things sometimes sneak back up on the eastern two counties of Maine, as was
the case yesterday, thus, the Mt Desert region got a good 4", probably a bit
more in Bar Harbor.
