Here is a table of average daily rainfall (& melted precip) sorted by day of
the week for Ashland, MAso far this year.


Sunday 0.10" 90% of expected
Monday 0.06" 60% of expected
Tuesday 0.22" 200% of expected
Wednesday 0.14" 130% of expected
Thursday 0.15" 140% of expected
Friday 0.12" 110% of expected
Saturday 0.17" 160% of expected

The day of choice for those who do not like wet is Monday. The following
day, Tuesday, is the day they like the least. 3 1/2 times as much precip
has fallen on the average on Tuesday than on Monday.

Climatologically, we expect about .11" of precip daily here. Thus the final
column shows approxilate percent of expected.

The above includes 50 weeks of data (51 weeks for Thursday). Thus, I am
surprised by the high degree of weekday to weekday variability.
